Congratulations Armin Meyer!!!
At this year’s mooring boat race, on the occasion of the 833rd Hamburg harbor birthday, our colleague Armin took 1st place with the boat “Gerd-Heinrich”, followed by Toni Oestmann with the “Boxer” and a well-deserved 2nd place. A total of 21 traditional and active boats entered the race and did not miss the opportunity to do a few laps of honor in front of the spectators at the Landungsbrücken after the race. Everyone involved had a lot of fun and we would like to thank the organizers very much.
The mobile cinema, together with the “Hamburg Lines Men” and the German Harbor Museum, invite you to our harbor for 3 evenings.
After the three successful evenings in the German Harbor Museum at the location shed 50, we advance with you further into the harbor and show the mooring film in the central location of the Hamburg mooring lines, the so-called “mooring mosque”. We dedicate the evenings to the hard job of the mooring and you immerse yourself in the dock work.
Before the film, there is an opportunity to get to know the day-to-day setting of the mooring center.
And in addition, an employee from the harbor museum and a mooring man will report on their activities.
AND ALSO AN EMPLOYEE FROM THE PORT MUSEUM AND A MOORING PERSON REPORTS ABOUT THEIR ACTIVITIES.
Beforehand, the flickering team will spoil you with solid delicacies and suitable drinks.

Klaus Ellrodt and Christian Widuch, NDR 1971, 43 min. (German)
I’ve wanted to show this diamond over the port of Hamburg for at least 12 years and now everything has finally come together! Thanks also to the Norddeutscher Rundfunk for the great shoot last time and the great support of our joint work.
Hamburger Schnack – Hamburg harbor weather – rough hands
The wonderfully authentic report brings us very close to the rough but committed community of 90 Hamburg mooring men.
A piece of unembellished port life, far removed from the now and then very romantic notions in our social memory.
Pre-program & cinema adults 12 EUR

On April 19th, 2022 there will be a screening of the film “Die Festmacher” by Klaus Ellrodt and Christian Widuch (NDR 1971, 43 min.) in the German Harbor Museum.
Before the film, two mooring men report on their work: Hermann Zehbe from his generation-spanning family history, which is firmly connected with the mooring activities and the restoration of historic mooring boats. And Florian Heeckt, himself a former moorer, and now working in the general management of HLM Hamburg Lines Men GmbH.
GERMAN HARBOR MUSEUM, 04/19/2022 START: 8 PM (ADMISSION FROM 6:30 PM)
Hawks Racing e.V. would like to thank HLM Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH for generously making their company premises available for this year's calendar photo shoot. In particular, we would like to thank the head of the workshop, Mr. Schreiber, who ensured that the photo shoot went smoothly.
On site we were allowed to put our racing car on the slipway, from where there was an excellent view over the water of the Süderelbe to the Köhlbrand Bridge. As a small thank you on our part, we have attached a nice picture that was taken during the shoot.
